The house cocktail of Arnaud’s Restaurant in New Orleans, it doesn’t get much more simple than this. Just three ingredients stirred and chilled with ice to create the perfect drink to slowly sip in the evenings.
Garnish: Orange Twist
40ml Dewar’s Whisky
10ml Dubonnet Rouge
3 dashes of Angostura Orange Bitters
– Add all ingredients to mixing glass and top with ice
– Stir consistently in both directions until drink is chilled and the correct level of dilution reached.
– Add more ice if necessary.
– Strain into martini (or Coupe) glass.
– Garnish & serve.
